Film production is not a sport for loners. That’s why Orlando’s production community support of UCF FILM is so important. Throughout each year, the region’s leading production companies offer many discounts and special deals to UCF FILM students. A core group of these companies also contribute to the UCF/Orlando Capstone Production Grant, a goods and services package worth more than $20,000.

The grant is awarded in early Fall to one senior about to embark on his or her Capstone project. Students must pitch their films to be considered – first to a faculty panel, and then the finalists move on to pitch an industry panel. Film industry representatives evaluate the content and feasibility of the project, the passion of the director, the assembled production team and their previous works. The winning film goes into production using goods and services provided by:
