Since 1990, UCF Film has been dedicated to the development and inspiration of filmmakers and students of film. Our vision is to provide a climate for artistic and intellectual growth that is challenging, supportive and entrepreneurial. Our program is grounded in an understanding for and appreciation of the place of story in film. From this foundation we have been able to build a curriculum that addresses all film genres and types from the traditional to the experimental; the commercial to the highly personal.

Our faculty is experienced in production and Cinema Studies. Their understanding of Independent Film gives the program intellectual and professional rigor. 	Bachelor of Fine Arts · Production Track The B.F.A. in Production provides students with a grounding in the history, theory and aesthetics of film while developing their individual production skills, style and voice as entrepreneurial cinematic storytellers.
	Bachelor of Arts · Cinema Studies Track This B.A. offers courses in film theory, history and criticism. The emphasis is on the aesthetics, styles and forms of film.
	Bachelor of Arts · World Cinema Track The B.A. in World Cinema focuses on non-mainstream cinematic expression that encourages civic engagement and meaningfully serves excluded and marginalized communities.
	Master of Fine Arts · Entrepreneurial Digital Cinema This highly selective, rigorous, three-year professional program is for visual artists and practitioners who demonstrate exceptional artistic and intellectual prowess and evidence of significant professional promise.
