Bob Allen
Directing / Producing

Bob Allen began his career in the entertainment industry as a musician at the age of 16. He taught guitar and toured Europe as a singer and accompanist. Due to his success, he formed a successful concert production company, producing over 100 commercial and benefit events in the Southwest. Upon graduation from the University of Colorado in 1976 with a degree in Communication, he accepted a position with Disneyland's live entertainment division. His background includes producing a Jazz fusion show which incorporated film, video and magic techniques; stage management of Super Bowl XI Half Time; along with designing and creative development work of Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade. With the advent of the Tokyo Disneyland project, Allen formed a production unit within the Disneyland International Division. In addition to this assignment, Bob also began work with Walt Disney Imagineering on several shows that would later become EPCOT. With the opening of EPCOT, Mr. Allen relocated his entire production unit to Walt Disney World. One of his notable projects were a very successful series of live, holiday television specials beginning with Walt Disney World's Very Merry Christmas Parade on ABC in 1983. In 1987, Bob became Vice President of Disney Production Services Inc. where he was responsible for all facilities and services at the Disney-MGM Studios as well as the operation of Disney I.D.E.A.S. (Innovation Design Entertainment Art and Storytelling), a full service creative content studio. In July 2001, he formed Integrity Arts and Technology Inc. and currently serves as its CEO. Bob just completed a management buyout of I.D.E.A.S. while retaining Disney as a client in order to broaden its scope and create new original story-based content for converged media users.

Mr. Allen serves on a number of community service organization boards and industry organizations including the Central Florida Technology Partnership, The Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, The Florida Film and Television Commission, The Central Florida Film Advisory Council, and The Bob Allen Family Foundation (named in honor of his father.) Bob also established and funds a Diversity Film Scholarship at the University of Central Florida Department of Film.
